Everything you wanted to ask
When should I apply it — morning or night?
Night, always. Retinal works best during your skin's overnight repair cycle, and it makes skin more sun-aware — so follow up with SPF every morning.
Can I use it with vitamin C or exfoliating acids?
Yes, just not in the same routine. Use vitamin C in the morning and this cream at night. Keep AHA/BHA exfoliation to 2–3 nights a week on non-retinal nights while your skin adjusts.
Is it safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
We recommend skipping vitamin-A derivatives (including retinal) during pregnancy and nursing. Check with your doctor — and ping our support team for retinal-free alternatives.
Can I use it every night?
If you're new to retinal, start with alternate nights for two weeks, then go nightly. Experienced retinoid users can start nightly right away.
How long does one jar last?
With the recommended 2–3 capsules per night, the 30g jar lasts about a month and the 50g jar about two months.
What makes this different from a regular retinol cream?
Three things: retinal (one step closer to retinoic acid than retinol, so it works faster), per-dose encapsulation (actives stay fresh until application), and the BarrierLock™ ceramide base that prevents the dryness retinoids are notorious for.
